Friday Favorites - December 1st 2017

Happy Friday!  Can you believe it's here?  The holidays are HEREHERE.  Are you excited yet?   We can officially celebrate CHRISTMAS with decor, music, our trees, and other merriment without being frowned upon by others who choose not to begin celebrating Christmas in June like I do.  ;) I kid, I kid.  Sort of... If you've been following along with my blog for a while then you do know that I started listening to Christmas music many months ago intermittently and I'm not the least bit ashamed.  It helped keep me in a good mood on days I felt stressed out.

So now here we are!  Praise God.

I am linking up with Andrea today to share my Friday Favorites.  In no particular order:

Favorite #1

"As It Is" by Hillsong Worship.

I bawled like a baby...for a long while.  It is so beautifully written and sung.  My heart might have exploded with an outpouring of love and the gratefulness for what Jesus died to give me each and every day.  Nine minutes is nothing compared to the worship and praise we should be giving our Lord each day.  Please spend at least your next nine minutes listening to this!

Favorite #2

Boots & Booties.  All the boots.  All the time.  Is it just me or have boots gotten cutie this year?

My go-to brands are Nine West, Steve Madden, and Dolce Vita for comfort.  Read reviews before ordering a size!  This is very helpful to determine if a brand/style runs smaller or bigger.

This outfit combo.  Comfy.  Chic.  Easily mixed and matched, dressed up or down.  What's there to lose?  Absolutely nothing.

The Gibson twist front top is surprisingly flattering and comes in multiple color options (Christmas red!!!).  It's long enough in the back to just cover up if you wear leggings and has a high neckline for modesty and a blank canvas for all those dazzling statement necklaces for the holidays OR to don a scarf with your statement earrings.

My Old Navy gray jeans I scored on sale for $15 and I am so glad I did!  Not only for the color that is so versatile, but also the comfort.  Watch for Old Navy sales and you're bound to get them for a similar price.

My Sam Edelman boots were on sale too, but you can find similar styles in just about every brand and price point.

Cashmere anytime, anywhere.  Add in a blanket scarf and these low heeled booties and I was oh-so-cozy.  I wore this outfit to work last week and didn't want to change out of it when I got home!

I bought my cashmere tunic in five colors (oopsie) as they would pop up on sale over the past 2 years on Rue La La.  They are my absolute favorite winter item to wear because they're loose, cover the rear, look great with jeans, slacks, skirts, etc and can be dressed up or down.  That being said I must let you down.  I cannot locate them online (yet...).  Here's another sweater similar in color.

I shameless wear these 1822 Denim "Butter" black jeans for work and play.  They feel like pajamas and look nice enough that no one seems to notice that they're even jeans!

These BP earrings are the best!  They look similar to Kendra Scott but without the price tag and heavy weight.  For $12, they can't be beat.  I've received compliments on them multiple times since I received them a couple of weeks ago.

Low heeled booties are my new must-haves.  My feet have been hurting me in every imaginable way lately for various reasons and as the fall/winter season approached I knew I'd keep my eyes open for sales on low heeled booties.  There's a a gagillion to choose from and I read a lot of reviews.  I bit the bullet on these inexpensive ones (they were on sale) to get a feel for if I would wear them enough to actually purchase a nice pair.  I ended up wearing them all weekend this past weekend, so I guess that's a yes!  #savethefeet

Fun jewelry.  'Tis the season.

My friend sent me a pic of this necklace she recently purchased from Anthropologie and I thought it was beautiful so wanted to share!  I rarely think of shopping at Anthropologie so this was a nice reminder to me to take a look every now and then.  It comes in four different colors and not only is it pretty for you, it would make a nice Christmas gift for someone else. =)

Have you checked out Baublebar?  I am a huge fan.  They have gorgeous statement earrings and really good flash sales to snag up great pieces for yourself or for gifts (as I have made a point of doing over the past year).  Tassel earrings for everyone!  And I'm not even ashamed of it.  I love the pop of color they give.  Here's a few examples that come in multiple color options:

This guy on Instagram.  @wolfgang2242 He rescues senior dogs and other various animals.

I've been following him for a while and delight in his animal pictures and captions.  They never disappoint.

And that's a wrap!  I have more to share but don't like to make these too long of a post.  I'll save it for another day.  Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend ahead!

XOXO
