Fall Finds at Old Navy

This is the time of year that I enjoy shopping the most. I love sweaters and cardigans and scarves and leggings and boots! For the life of me I don’t know how I have remained in Texas (love the state, dislike the heat) but it has been a wonderful place to call home. It can also be difficult for me to justify buying anything for cooler weather as we simply do not have ample opportunities to wear the clothes and jackets.

Last fall/winter we had mild temperatures with what seemed to be more warm days than cool and I barely touched my winter wardrobe. That just makes me so sad, y’all.

So…to brighten my 2019 fall blues I decided to treat myself to some new items this year! Fashion on a budget is my usual goal, always looking at sales first! Old Navy is one of the stores that typically has excellent sale prices off and on every few days and especially if you’re an Old Navy (Gap/Banana Republic) card member you can get extra deals sometimes. The other factor is that when you don’t spend a lot on any one item you don’t feel so bad when you want to replace it with something new!

*My dad is surely shaking his head at that comment and thinking all of the financial lessons he taught me went down the drain. =}

  1. This mock neck sweater had me at hello. It is light weight and soft so you will not overheat during the day. It comes in SEVEN color options, too.

  2. These mules have become my recent favorite shoes to throw on an go. I was surprised I could even wear them after my foot surgery but they do not hurt my toe at all! I think mules are a great fall transition piece since the back is open and your feet will not overheat.

3. I have literally become obsessed with Old Navy’s Rockstar skinny leg button fly jeans (ankle length). I managed to get both pairs for about $15 dollars when on sale - how do you go wrong with that? They fit TTS. The button fly adds cute detail to the outfit in my opinion.

4. This sweater is incredibly soft as well! It is a pointelle knit so you will need to wear a cami underneath it. The sleeves are blouson which is in style right now. It comes in FIVE colors.

5. These are a different shade of the button fly jeans.

6. The plush grey striped top feels like pajamas, it is so soft and comfortable! It comes in TWO colors in stripes. It comes in THREE colors in solid.

7. This open front cardigan is so, so soft. I ordered it online and expected not to like it as they can sometimes be frumpy, but I was surprised by the quality and softness. This color is sea haze and it comes in THREE other colors.

8. These Elevate Powersoft joggers have blown my mind. I haven’t quite gotten into the jogger look because I think they look funny on me. Well, I decided to give these a try because the Elevate Powersoft work out leggings are my favorite. I was surprised at how well these fit, feel, and look! They are actually flattering unlick most joggers I’ve tried. They come in SIX colors.

I went to the Old Navy store to return a couple of things and am glad I did as I got to touch the clothes to feel the texture and quality. They have really done a great job this season and there are a lot more items I could have snagged up!

Have you tried anything new at Old Navy lately? Where is your go-to store for fall clothes?
