Hello ho-ho-ho! We’re early into the holiday season but never to early to think about decorating.

I know many of us were eager to take down our Halloween decor and go straight to Christmas this year. Normally I leave up my fall stuff for a couple of weeks after I take down Halloween, but I have to admit that I am on the bandwagon to decorate for Christmas earlier than normal.

For one, we will not be hosting Thanksgiving this year. =’( Two, I like to enjoy the fruits of my labor. Three, it’s 2020 and all boundaries are broken anyway.

SO! I thought I’d share some neutral holiday decor than can be transitioned from pre-Thanksgiving into Christmas.

  1. This neutral wreath is the perfect way to welcome guests throughout the entire holiday season.

  2. Keeping the garland neutral with pine cones and berries. The glitter frosted greenery with white pearl mistletoe berries keep this garland neutral too. And then this eucalyptus garland will make the perfect table scape. Pops of clear votives with white candle will make your dinner elegant.

  3. This set of 3 white - ceramic vases are perfect year round. You can add fall stems and then Christmas stems to it, or just greenery stems for the whole season.

  4. Rustic farmhouse or Scandinavian? Either way: beaded garland is all the rage right now. This one is 5 feet long and this one is 7 feet long. They can be draped along your mantle with or without greenery. This 8 foot pom pom garland is also on trend yet keeping with neutral colors.

  5. Let’s get cozy! Velvet pom-pom pillow covers come in various sizes and colors, but the cream would keep the pallet neutral. The white snowflake pillow covers add a pop of festive for winter time. Cream and white plaid throw pillow covers tie in the colors as well. Lastly, everyone needs a cozy throw blanket for guests. It comes in other colors and in two sizes.

  6. The ruffled burlap tree skirt is a feminine touch while adding gold and mercury colored ornaments to your tree.

Honorable mentions I didn’t add to the graphic above that I love:

The great thing about decorating in neutrals is that you can add in pops of any color that you want after Thanksgiving! If you’re into reds, greens, navy plaids, black and white, golds, silvers…any of it can be added in to make it even more Christmas festive!

What is your usual Christmas decor color scheme? I’ve always been a very traditional red & green kinda gal, but now that I have SIX trees to consider this year I am able to switch things up a bit. =} Last year we had five trees. The hubs moved his office location and won’t have a place for a tree there so we have one more! Woot!

XOXO
