We’re two weeks away from Thanksgiving and I am looking forward to seeing my family. I’ve always enjoyed Thanksgiving Day between the yummy food and the moment to truly “give thanks” for my loved ones. Are you geared up and ready for the holiday?
I’ve rounded up some outfit ideas to either help you get your creative juices flowing and figure out what you plan to wear that’s already in your closet OR to help you order whichever items you may need/want to add to your closet for fall and Thanksgiving. Aside from wearing black, fall colors are my favorite to wear. I find they’re flattering on everyone. Now, let’s get started…

NORDSTROM
I found some really cute items from Nordstrom that can be mixed and matched to essentially create a fall capsule wardrobe of sorts (not technically speaking, but kind of).
DRESSY CASUAL ~ I’ve recently started to believe that high waisted, cropped, semi-flared legged pants look good on just about everyone. The key is to make sure the length comes to just above your ankles - so depending on height not all versions may work. But, I like them.
I ordered these Tom’s wedge booties during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale, but returned them ONLY because they were a hint loose in the heel and a hint tight in the toe width but I think that would have stretched out after wearing them a couple of times. If it wasn’t for them being slightly loose I would have kept them and may reorder them.

CASUAL-ish ~
If you don’t have a Barefoot Dreams cardigan of some sort, you are miss out! These are soooo soft and cozy warm, but not too hot (like a fleece lined item would be). There are different versions of Barefoot Dreams cardigans, but this shawl collared one is my favorite.
If I were a tennis-shoe girl I would snag several pairs of these Dolce Vita sneakers that are in each image. ALL SO CUTE!!! I love the designs and I had excellent luck with the Dolce Vita brand back when Target sold it.

CASUAL-ish ~
There’s hardly anything better than a good pair of leggings. I used to have the Zella live-in leggings and eventually donated them when my weight shifted with Hashimotos. Now I’m wishing I still had them!
These are so fun and remind me of my “spiced cider” driving moccasins.

DRESSY CASUAL ~
Spanx faux leather leggings are AMAZING. IYKYK. I love them and have had them for years now. You can wear them with just about any type of shoe.
My favorite thing about a sleeveless sweater is you can wear it underneath things and not get overheated and then when you go into a place that has the heater cranking you can take off your coat/jacket/sweater and NOT overheat.

These will be good for the office (aside from the tennis shoes)! These pants have really good reviews and appear to be pull on - I do not see anything about a a zipper or closure. Pull are pants are officially my way of life.
