Hello Friday. I’ve been looking forward to seeing you again. I am excited about the weekend. How about you?

I am linking up today to share some of my recent favorite things with you. (WARNING! There are a lot of pictures of me in this post, I think more than normal. Makes me uncomfortable, but it’s to help show you what I’m using/wearing.) In no particular order…

Favorite #1

My blue light blocking glasses.

I’ve shared these on here before, but since I am sitting at my desk 8 hours a day now I am wearing them all the time and I adore them! Not only have I always wanted glasses (but have 20/20 vision), but these are helping me not to strain my eyes. They do not have any magnifying in the lenses.

Favorite #2

Bath and Body Works.

I have been wearing my same “signature” scents for years and years. I combine BBW - Japanese Cherry Blossom body spray and Viva La Juicy perfume. I have loved this combo for what feels like forever.

I recently went into a BBW store (by recently, I actually mean months ago) and indulged myself in smelling just about everything.

I discovered this scent that I am now obsessed with: Into the Night. “A timeless, feminine, alluring blend of dark berries, midnight jasmine & rich amber.” I cannot get enough of it!! Even the hubs commented about how good it smells. Ooh-la-la!

Fun fall boots!

I have been seeing climbing boots / lug boots all over and while I’ve wanted some since forever I have restrained because we are not particularly outdoorsy people here in Houston. It’s hot, humid, and we have mosquitos. No, thanks!

That being said I love to explore when we go on vacations and hike when possible so I pulled the trigger on these when I had a great $20 off $49 coupon at DSW.

They are so comfortable and cute! I’m glad I gave them a try AND they come in white too.

Lip stains that actually stay.

This is a true hunt, isn’t it ladies? I have tried many in varying price points and brands and tend to have issues with the lip stain running/smudges after eating. Up until last week I mostly have tried bright red lip stains, with the exception of a $25 lip stain in a nude color once and I hated it so much I never wore it after the first time.

I decided to “splurge” and picked up this $4.99 Wet n Wild lip stain at Target thinking if it didn’t work well, no-harm no-fowl. I wouldn’t be out much money.

Y’all. I love it. I bought it in “Rebel Rose” and it stayed on all day with no issues whatsoever. Grant it, I was working from home but still. I am impressed! You can see the color in the photo of me in the glasses above. This will be my new daily lip stick. It has 4.6 stars out of 5, so for an inexpensive lip stick I certainly will be trying the “Missy and Fierce” next!

In this photo below that you have seen before, I am wearing L’Oréal Infallible. I bought this on a trip and boy does it stay on! I couldn’t get it off that evening! One thing about it is that the red is a little darker than what I normally prefer but at least I don’t have to worry about it running/smudging. I touch up the inner sides after dinner and am good to go for the rest of the evening. I am wearing the color “Matador” and this is $7.99 at Target.

One old tried and true that I have always loved is the Sephora Collection cream lip stain in “Always Red”. It’s $15 dollars but the first tube I purchased lasted me almost 4 years! Grant it, red is not an everyday color of course. There are dozens of colors to choose from as well.

A fabulous statement blouse.

I eyeballed this for far too long. Naturally I would have gone for the black top, but they didn’t have my size. In fact this shirt runs very large in my opinion but with a little half tuck all was well with the world! I did appreciate the length in the back as well.

The top: Fushia // Black // Hunter Green // Grape // Burgundy (the pics look like a brick red to me though).

If your size is out of stock you can request to be notified when it’s back in stock.

Here is the shirt at another boutique I like that’s in my neighborhood - you might find your size here.

Purple // Black // Snake Print

Lulu’s skirt // similar booties (ps: I just got these booties in beige and love them!)

Did you come across anything new recently that you loved? Please share!

I hope you have a fabulous Friday and a wonderful weekend ahead!

XOXO
