Happy Saturday, y’all. I hope you’ve had a great week so far. I started this post on Thursday to share yesterday but didn’t get to come back to it to finish it. So, I’m sharing my Friday favorites on Saturday…which also means that while this will post to the blog today, the email for it won’t go out until tomorrow on Sunday. So happy Sunday as well. =)))

November is here and if I have any say in it, so is Christmas.

I have somehow been busier and busier as this year has progressed and yet have had moments of paralyzing emotion - high functioning anxiety is a very real thing with the countless losses that I haven’t quite grappled with so whether I get 2 hours of sleep or 6ish on a good night, my body can be a wild game of fun which lends itself to the days blurring into one. If you’re around me enough you will certainly hear me ask, “What day is it?”. But, I digress. ;)

With the holidays approaching I am shifting into gift shopping mode and with that figured I should start sharing more of the things I’ve either purchased or am loving in case they turn out to be gift ideas for you.

So, for this recent list of favorites, I am linking up to share these in no particular order.

Truvaga

I read about this device on my Dr’s website and they’re not* easy to get into because they do not take insurance and it piqued my interest to research this device.

Truvaga stimulates the Vagus nerve and targets many areas of issues that I have including insomnia, stress, digestive issues, emotions, etc. Plus the fact that my doctor’s office has it and is willing to give a free session for continued treatment REALLY stirred me. So, I ordered it.

The brand suggests using it twice a day (AM/PM) for 30 days to really track progress for whatever ailment you have. The reviews were interesting to me because some people felt improvement with general topics, some didn’t. Yet, those that didn’t may have felt/noticed/notably tracked improvements in areas like HRV, sleep, stress, etc.

So, here I am on day five today (Saturday). I cannot tout anything major yet and there’s always the risk of placebo effects, but I do think I have had noticeable improvement/calming of anxiety after each session. It’s too early to tell and again possibly placebo…but I am excited. Plus, it is rechargeable, is small enough to travel with, and has unlimited “sessions” versus the previous version that is less expensive but has a capped number of “sessions”.

All things Christmas.

I decorated my house early the week before Halloween which is earlier than I have ever, ever decorated. And while Halloween felt like it arrived too soon, it also felt long overdue the weekend of the 24th and I couldn’t fathom leaving my fall/Halloween stuff up a moment longer the one night I felt the urge to take it all down. Such is the exact life for me when I hit my peak of Christmas around New Years.

ANYWAY, I’ll spare you the ins and outs of my decorating and the items I ended up bringing from the previous house to my house this year when I went there to decorate…

I AM SO EXCITED about the new (viral) trees over there AND the new one I got for my home.

I shop a lot, but always with a sale or coupon deal. I have been yearning for this viral tree for two years but didn’t want to spend the money when we had purchased a new tree in 2022. I am practical and I can be frugal. I was determined to make that (beautiful) 9ft flocked tree work in the foyer the past two years. It did. It was beautiful. It could have been a hair taller for the space, but it worked.

Anyway, this year we discussed LESS FLOCKING because holy heck have I had a year with allergies…we opted for (read: I insisted upon and chose) the 12ft viral Home Depot twinkling tree that I’ve wanted for years. It comes in smaller heights of course, too.

I found mine at At Home in 9ft slim version. Home Depot only have a 9ft full tree and I do not have the space for that diameter anywhere in my house. I had looked at the Bradley Spruce at At Home years ago so I knew it was the same “viral tree” with regards to the light count and twinkling. However, mine only has white light options whereas the Home Depot version has both white and colored light options.

That being said, the 12 ft full versions were almost identical in pricing. The At Home tree required true “fluffing”. The Home Depot tree unfolded beautifully with almost zero branch repositioning needed. #winning

At my house, I used the same black ornaments and black velvet bows I used on the champagne tinsel tree last year.

At the other house, I used the gold and silver ornaments we used on the tree before and added in new burgundy velvet ornaments and burgundy velvet bows. IT IS GORGEOUS. This tree collar is new as well as we needed a larger one for the tree stand’s diameter.

I will share a holiday home tour soon enough. =)

Klhoud Protein Popcorn.

My friend, Konni, picked this up at the airport when we were headed to Maine. It was SOOO good! It’s not sold everywhere yet (which is a shame), but Target does sell it. I’ve also tried the White Cheddar flavor as well and it’s dangerously good.

The added protein makes it a better snacking option than regular popcorn. =)

Favorite #4

Christmas shirts and jammies. .

I mentioned the jersey knit jammies in my previous Friday Favorites post last month but I really can’t get enough. I’ll be wearing the shirts out and about as well as to sleep in. I’m doing my part to feel festive every day even if it’s just wearing my Christmas themed stud earrings.

Christmas / Holiday stud earrings.

I purchased mine when Park Lane had festive styles over the past couple of years. I adore them so much and the subtle hint of festive flare. They make me happy.

Here are some similar options: =)))
